Song for Gramps
(Boy soldier). During WW1 My grandfather lied about his age in order to join the army. On September 24, 1916 he was admitted to hospital with a shrapnel wound. The backdrop for this print is a hospital chart on which his temperature was recorded daily. The dots suggested musical notes, and moved me to pair that it with this bird drawing.
Signed, open edition print. Price: $60. Outside dimensions: 8.5" x 11". Print # 17.
